Andrology Laboratory Services:

The services provided at the Crozer Andrology Laboratory are by appointment only Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Select procedures are performed on the weekend.

Semen Analyses
  • Infertility
  • Post-Vasectomy

    • Sperm washing:

    for intrauterine insemination and ART procedures

    Sperm cryopreservation

  • Short term to provide back-up specimens for ART procedures
  • Long term as a method to preserve fertility before chemotherapy, radiation therapy
    and/or surgery

    • Sperm antibody testing

  • Directly assessing the semen sample
  • Indirectly assessing serum

    • Sperm survival testing

  • 24 hour motility assessment

    • Fructose analysis for azoospermic samples

    Retrograde analysis

  • To assess the presence of sperm in the urine
